What a whirlwind, y'all. 2020 sure gave us a run for our money in more ways than one. The last month of the year was the craziest for us between preparing for the holidays and Christmas shopping, we were also running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to finish up everything needed to close on our new house and simultaneously pack and move out of our old rental house. So many good memories were left behind at 3414 Creekbriar Dr but we have been having a blast getting settled into our newly built Centex home. I will say one thing I think we all miss the most about the old house is the lack of stairs but, hey, what a better way to start those New Years resolutions of getting back in shape than being forced to run up and down stairs multiple times daily. LOL! Despite that, it is so so nice being in a new build with all new top of the line appliances. It is honestly hard to wrap my head around the fact that it is really ours! And I can't believe in a few days we will have already been moved in for a whole month! So here we are starting off the new year in a new house, heading into our 5th year of marriage, both back to work full time in office, and both of the kiddos in daycare. That has been such a hard transition in itself as I never wanted to put Carter in daycare until he was at least a year old. We had a tearful goodbye last Monday morning but it has slowly started to ease up as the weeks press on. Sometimes the hardest thing that sucks most about being an adult is actually having to be an adult and do what you have to do despite your wishes. Never the less, the Williams' are hopeful for the 2021 year and all that it may bring - fingers crossed it is a hell of a lot calmer and more "normal" feeling than the last year has been. Some of our goals for this year are to make some moves on advancing our careers, Will hopes to pursue DJ'ing more as well as put out a new album on iTunes this summer, take a much needed vacation to somewhere tropical, and hopefully have our house fully unpacked, organized and decorated how we want maybe with some new furniture of our own (if we can swing it). I promise to make a post with all the deets of the house once it is put together! As for now, here is the beautiful outside modern farmhouse look that we love! I hope everyone had a great start to the new year and is just as hopeful as me for the months to come! Cheers to 2021 🥂

Much love, Tay
