Man what a long and exciting weekend it has been! For the first time ever my husband and I took a trip with my cousin and her boyfriend to the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dang what a blast it was! And it was a nice little break from being a mom š (Ps. please excuse some of these pictures, the lighting in the hotel was atrocious.)

First let me talk about this amazing top... this embroidery is just so stunning and eye catching and I am completely obsessed with the color palette. Embroidered tops and dresses are all the rage this summer and I am so here for it! I wore this little number on the way up to the casino and decided not to change after we checked in cause it was just so dang cute! I got both the top and the shorts from Ruthie Grace but I've linked the same top here because I actually found it cheaper from another boutique. They also have it in this killer hot pink color and I'll link it here.

The next day I wore a simple outfit to hang out at pool and float the lazy river and this cute swimsuit I got from target (and it's on sale right now). We ended up getting pretty burnt after a few hours so be sure to sunscreen well this summer the sun is HOT. Anyways, after that we got ready for the night and I wore this super cute little polka dot romper I just snagged on sale at a local boutique and my favorite Christian Loubotin booties (they were a splurge for Christmas last year). I wore my hair in a top knot bun because I felt like it gave me that fun and flirty look and of course, my favorite, red lips! I kept the jewelry simple because the romper was such a statement piece I didnāt need much else.

Although we ended up with a little less than we came with, it was still an entertaining weekend and was tons of fun getting to spend time with my cousin and her boyfriend, who actually made out like bandits this weekend! (Lucky them) 10/10 recommend this casino! The rooms were so nice and the staff is very friendly. They also had really really good food options. We had Japanese and sushi one night and it was fantastic and they actually serve really good drinks throughout the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised! Only downside, in my opinion, was that the table minimums were pretty high to sit, they started at $25 and steeply went up from there. We really played the slots a lot. But needless to say, it was so much fun and we are definitely looking forward to our next trip! If you have any questions drop me a message!
Love yāall,
Tay
