If you have a kid then you know that one of the most dreaded times to look forward to is teething, or you've already survived it. For me it has been a long and hard ride that I'm still on. Dixie didn't pop her first tooth until she was 11 months old and since she turned one it has been non stop teething. So don't worry if your kid is a little early or a little late, they will all come in eventually. However, it's been pretty miserable to say the least. From the fevers to the lack of sleep, on the bad nights, it has been exhausting and of course I feel so bad for my poor baby. But I will say that she has been a complete trooper! Although she has been fussy at moments, she really has been pretty good and in good spirits despite all the drool and running nose. For those of you that haven't experienced it yet get ready is all I can say. Freeze those teething toys, get the bibs out, and have plenty of infant advil on hand!! I've linked a couple of Dixie's favorites here and here. These teething tablets have also been really helpful.
Having a toddler in general can already be a handful, at best, so, even through the fun times and experiences it's best to always be prepared for the worst. And teething takes the trophy for some of the worst. Toddlers are so testy as it is wanting to see how far they can push you before they get in trouble. As I'm sure you already know, patience and and being prepared helps things go a lot smoother. Don't get me wrong, times aren't always bad and I do enjoy watching her grow and learn new things everyday but it has been a whirlwind for sure. If you have any other advice you'd like to give of what has worked for you feel free to send me a message! All ideas welcome!!! Now here are some cute pictures of my sweet girl <3 Enjoy!

love ya,
Tay
